Right people. Il say this. I have a PS3, Xbox360, PC, PSP so please, when I say this, I am not saying this as an uninformed fanboy who just plays on an xbox.

But with the amazing news from XBOX at E3 I think it is fair to say, xbox is literally twice what the ps3 is, and WILL catch Wii in no time.

NEW FEATURES:
1. Facebook / Twitter integration to XBL.




2. Streaming 1080P Movies instead of downloading one file.

3. Metal Gear Solid 5

4. Sky TV (including Live football and catch up tv) exclusively coming to Xbox. With no prior satelite aerial or subscription required.

5. AND THE BIGGEST THING THAT IS SIMPLY AMAZING... CODENAMED... "PROJECT NATAL"

but i do not believe for one second that its gonna have sky sports for no added fee. they will at least add a load of money on the XBL cost for that.
its like 30 quid a month so how could xbox afford to do that, and what kind of business would that be.

yeah i saw that too, i got both a wii and a 360, but Xbox took that whole conference with natal
but i saw nintendo's conference...100 percent pure fail right up until the end when they anounced a new metroid game

Sky will be at a charge. but im saying you dont need to have the dish or to be a current customer to get sky through your xbox. but they have already said, if your house already gets sky, you get the xbox sky at a discount. looks so sick, because you and a party can watch the same match, you can celebrate etc..fuck it, il show you. youll like it nick (arsenal vs liverpool)

i dont own any console ( except for a Playstation1 and a psp)
but as far as gaming, i think pc is still the most advanced one. it'll always will be. Every freaking month Nvidia and Ati are releasing their newest videocards and such. it'll always keep coming, while console's are only upgradable in terms of HD memory and extra controllers and some software patches.
after a couple years a new console will come out. and the old one vanishes. and you have to buy a new console.
i know by that time the pc you have right now wont be worth shite either and you might as well take a dump on it, it is upgradable so you can always pop in some extra ddr or a new graphics card.
also, i can not play on an xbox controller. gimme a keyboard+mouse!

not true. consoles upgrade graphics cards, processors, heatsyncs etc when they can.
True enough, a PC is more upgradeable but the way xbox live integrates in to everything nowadays it is so much better than tapping keyboards.

And you say about the life of consoles. what about when the next batch of games come along that will only run on 64bit machines or with quad cores or with 4gb ram. then those machines you are so proud of are worthless too, because if you have a motherboard that cant handle any of the above spec, when that day comes, you will need to build again.

Not that I am bothered because I work in computers and technology is my life so computer systems and consoles will never be an issue with me, but there is probably as strong argument FOR consoles over PC for gaming as there ever has been now.

Not too mention how much an xbox is and how much is a PC which can run graphics aswell as a xbox or ps3

i'm gonna eventually buy one of these new consoles, i just don't have the time to game. so it's not worth the hundreds of wasted dollars.

Nintendo is going to go under. Theres no way they can compete with the advances of Xbox and PS3. Sony also has a motion thing in the works too

Nintendo Wii has sold more than 360 and PS3, its cheaper and more fun.
its almost in a different market.
a lot of people will buy either 360 or PS3 and then a Wii aswell.
theres no competing it when it comes to playing with friends/family.

Nintendo was going to go under before the Wii came out. Thats why it was almost impossible to get one. They put a few to test the market and it backfired.

But now that MS and Sony are in the motion control market, Nintendo will go under. its more of a toy than anything. The range of games to play on it is limited. Its a gimmick. MS and Sony will have the same games that nintendo offers plus so much more.

Nintendo will do what Sega did and become a brand of games on all systems
