first of all.. em's talking to the devil... which is not the case here..

also, the subject matter is on opposite sides of the spectrum.. em's actually talking about getting his career back..

also, joe's not alive in the song (or conscious).. em's full conscious..

i can see, however, where u got the similarity, cuz the ONLY thing similar about the two songs is that there is an "external" voice with which the rappers are engagin in a conversation w/...

I am saying the song is similar in the sense eminem is rapping having a conversation with someone and he copies Buddens way of doing it with that voice.

And eminem isnt talking to the devil. He is talking to himself (likely Slim Shady) the devil is not controlling him, he is referring back to slim shady and getting the shady side back. hence why he always refers to him as Slim and not Em
